HEK-293 Seed Train Expansion with CellScrew®
Macrophage production. Enabled.
Macrophages are hard to produce at scale
Macrophages matter across a growing set of applications — from the Monocyte Activation Test (MAT), an animal-free pyrogen test, to emerging macrophage-based therapies. Producing them means differentiating precursor cells into functional macrophages and harvesting them without changing their biology — reproducibly and at scale. Conventional adherent formats make this harder with every added vessel and handling step. CellScrew® supports macrophage production in a dynamic adherent environment and scales the same process.
Producing Macrophages using CellScrew®
- Functional macrophages differentiated and harvested, with response confirmed for MAT applications
- Demonstrated at small and larger scale, a scalable route from differentiation to production
- Reduced operational footprint and manual handling compared with conventional adherent formats
CellScrew® advantage: adherent cell culture that scales
Free up space in your incubator
These benefits translate directly into fewer vessels to track, fewer media exchange steps per passage, and less space needed per production cycle — reducing both the time and contamination risk associated with open-vessel handling at scale.
From MAT applications to CAR-M therapy
