We’ve been saying adherent cells can scale on CellScrew®, now there’s proof. A customer generated monocyte-to-macrophage differentiation data on the platform, with functional macrophages harvested at both CellScrew® mini and 6K scale.
The result matters most for teams working towards animal-free pyrogen testing — the Monocyte Activation Test — where a reliable adherent macrophage supply is the practical bottleneck. The data points to CellScrew® as a route to producing macrophages for MAT applications, and gives an early indication of its suitability for macrophage-based therapies further ahead.

Together with RoosterBio, we’ve begun a feasibility study evaluating Archimedes® One for MSC and EV workflows, within the project named “Automation4MSC” running from July to December 2026 and supported by INNOWWIDE and the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). The technical work is being carried out at RoosterBio’s U.S. facility, alongside a market feasibility assessment we’re compiling for the region. It’s an evaluation, not a foregone conclusion — and we’ll share what we learn as it takes shape.
