Archimedes® One – Dynamic adherent bioreactor, 10,000 cm² growth area, closed single-use processing

Bring bioreactor-level control to adherent cell culture — without multilayer stacks, microcarriers, or complex packed-bed systems. Archimedes® One is a dynamic adherent bioreactor built on the CellScrew® 10K, pairing a 10,000 cm² growth surface with closed, automated processing in a compact footprint.

The system brings controlled, scalable cultivation to 2D adherent workflows: using an external biocontroller (not supplied) to automate media exchange replacing manual handling, integrated sensors track key parameters in real time, and cell recovery is automated at harvest.

Suited to scale-up and scale-out, cell banking, and the transition from research toward GMP-ready adherent production — supporting adherent types like iPSC, MSC and macrophages cultivated in the CellScrew® system (depending on requirements).
